Jacob is a Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland-based actor with expansive training in screen and theatre, having completed two years of training at Hagley Theatre Company under Cameron Maddox and Darryl Low as well as a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts from Unitec Te Pūkenga. Originally from Otautahi/Christchurch, Jacob travelled north to pursue and complete his training at Unitec Te Pūkenga. In his graduation play, Jacob played the lead role of Khlestakov in The Inspector General, directed by Elena Stejko. He was also seen in various supporting roles in Tim Bray's production of The Magic Faraway Tree, as well as having acted in TAPAC's children's theatre show, Stellar Ella and The Space Pirates. Jacob is a hospo superstar and bartends at The Covert Theatre. When he's not mixing cocktails, he likes to spend his free time exercising, writing and honing his craft with fellow graduates in his weekly scene group workshops. As a dynamic, adaptable and highly directable performer, Jacob brings a keen curiosity and commitment to his work and is ready to make his unique mark in the industry.
