Grant’s passion for acting began in his teenage years, performing in many productions in both Masterton and Auckland. Grant has spent the majority of his professional life using drama as an educational tool, while teaching at an intermediate school. During his teaching career, Grant also directed several major productions at the intermediate school where he worked. He choreographed modern dance pieces for the school’s annual participation in J Rock, showcasing his creative versatility. Recently, Grant has returned to his first love - the theatre, and has expanded his creative journey into film. He completed both the beginner and advanced Screen Workshops led by Rachel Bullock and Liz Mullane, and fondly recalls attending a formative workshop with Raymond Hawthorne, which emphasized Truth in Acting. Currently, he is enjoying auditioning and participating in the six-week Actor’s Scene Study workshop with Jamie Irvine.
